How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking a month in advance for most dates or 2-3 months in advance for holidays and high-demand dates like Halloween and Take Your Child To Work Day. Last-minute bookings may still be available depending on artist and equipment availability.

How do I book an experience?

Accepted Answer

Start by submitting our booking form with your event date, location, guest count, and the experiences you’re interested in. We’ll review the details, recommend the best setup when needed, and send over your proposal and contract. A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your date.

Question 3

Can I request a specific artist?

Accepted Answer

You’re welcome to request an artist you’ve worked with before, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Artist assignments are based on availability, location, the services booked, and which team member is the best fit for your event.

Is my date held when I fill out the booking form?

Accepted Answer

No. Dates and time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your event is not officially reserved until we receive both your signed contract and first payment. Until then, another client may book your requested date or time slot.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept electronic payments through our secure booking and invoicing system. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. Venmo and Zelle are also accepted as fee-free options. Corporate clients are also able to pay via ACH. No personal checks are accepted.

Can I book more than one experience?

Absolutely. One of the benefits of working with The Celebrationists NYC is being able to coordinate multiple experiences through one company. We can help you choose the right combination based on your guest count, event length, and space.

Question 7

Do you provide services for adults?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We work with guests of all ages and provide entertainment and interactive experiences for birthdays, weddings, showers, corporate events, brand activations, and holiday parties to name a few. For example: face painting at a kid's party is very different than face painting at an adult event. Our artists are able to adapt their work to cater to different age groups, themes and event environments.

Can you stay longer if my event is running late?

Additional time may be available if the artist or team does not have another commitment immediately afterward. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges, so we recommend booking enough time in advance and giving guests time to arrive before the scheduled activities whenever possible.

Question 9

Is there a travel fee?

Accepted Answer

There is no travel fee for events in Brooklyn, Queens, or Nassau County. A $25 travel fee applies to Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island, and Westchester.Travel to New Jersey and Connecticut starts at $25 and varies based on the venue location. We’re also available to travel farther or out of state for select events and projects.
